Graham cracker pie crust (make or buy) and then either:
2 cans of sweetened condensed milk + 3/4 cup of fresh squeezed citrus juice of your choice, and zest from those fruit if you’re ambitious. Stir, put in pie crust, refrigerate until set. Serve with whipped cream (from the can is fine). I like it with a mix of orange and lemon juice, but do it with mostly lime and one lemon, it’s a fast key lime pie. OR 1 can sweetened condensed milk, 1/2 cup of citrus juice, one tub of cool whip. Blend together, put in pie crust, refrigerate. |
How do you keep it from scrambling the eggs? |
| I would say Baked Alaska, but it's a rainforest. |
What makes sweetened condensed milk and citrus juice "set"? Don't you need gelatin or something? |
