Another GA vs ECNL thread how original

In this area we have so much talent and parents arguing over which club is better is insane. 08 VDA might be the best in the area but 07 Arlington might be the best in the area for that age. Its all relevant!!

Btw GA is better than ECNL at least in this area. How many games did ECNL play this year? I think NCSL teams had more playing time

Nope. FCV 07 is the top team in the area for that age group. ECNL will be begging them to join. It doesn’t matter if they stay in GA bc every recruiter knows this so it really doesn’t matter who they play or what league they’re in.

Fear is a mental projection of something that has not happened. Totally agree with others that the best path for players is Coach, Club then league. ECNL is facing incredible obstacles and is not a nimble or player-centered league. GA is rising....thus the fear.

The top clubs are fleeing GAL as AFS as they can. Soccer parents are too immediate gratification to stick around until the GAL platform develops. ECNL will be stronger next year and GAL will be weaker.
