Dried out mini marshmallows

Am I the only person who loves eating dried out hard marshmallows? Ever since I was a kid, bliss is finding a forgotten bag that was left open turning them all hard. (They are not light and crunchy like the ones in Lucky Charms, they definitely have some tooth to them).

Not OP, but I hate throwing out food. It's not about the money. It's about the waste and the associated environmental cost. If I can use something, I will. My grandmother used to pickle watermelon rind, and while I won't go that far, I hate to even toss the watermelon rind because I know that I COULD be repurposing it.

That's why God created compost piles. Then you don't have to go to all the work of pickling watermelon rinds, roasting pumpkin seeds, etc, and still feel virtuous.

For real? For what?

Op, I'm all for avoiding food waste and repurpose almost everything including scraps and bones and shells for stocks, but I would be okay throwing away a couple bags of marshmallows. Your dental bill will thank you.

On second thought, of you really want to put them to use, you could Google "marshmallow science projects." Looks like there are some good ones. Also if you can get a toothpick inserted, your kids can use them to build structures.

Yes, for real. For fishing.

I don't think someone who buys marshmallows in a plastic bag that are absurdly processed made from cheap sugar that rapes the earth of nutrients is worried about the environment.

This is extreme cheapskate stuff.
