Love Governor Hogan! Wish he could run again.

What exactly is he doing to help schools open - absolutely nothing!
He knows fools like OP will swoon over his false bravado.

Very very disappointed in his vaccine roll out. No excuses for poor coordination and chaotic information. What's the point of opening up 1B and 1C when 1A is not done. This is very poor leadership. He had so much time to plan the distribution.

Hogan will be president in 2024.

He'll never get through the primary. Not Trumpy enough for the Trumpsters. And now he's doing his best to alienate the middle as well.

I strongly believe the schools should be open - but I don’t think Hogan has done anything to help create a tangible path to get there. He could have been doing steps for months - within his capacity - but he didn’t. Sound bites and national talk shows instead. As much as I don’t like Elrich, Hogan enables the silliness and seems to thrive on sparring for no gain other than himself . Vaccines are a disaster and would have been a piece to getting teachers more comfortable to go back to school

Hogan consistently reads the National political wind - hears Biden 100 day plan - so it is politically acceptable to ask for schools to open and now takes a position.

Good riddance.

Not sad to see him go. Didn’t vote for him before, not going to start in 2024.

How do you think that will happen?

Said no one ever. Larry Hogan may be a likable loser, but he's still a loser.

Though I admire him for beating cancer.

I actually voted for Hogan, and think he did a good job early on the pandemic.

Lately, he's all talk and no action. We could have had schools open instead of bars and restaurants, but no. The vaccine distribution is messed up.

Yep. He is now becoming a "real" politician. Time to put on the smarm
.

Larry's done some things I like, some things I don't. The Purple Line is a disaster and he wants to push more P3 contracts. I think he needs to get the first one straight first. He handled the pandemic as well as but no better than any other governor.

This is the real leadership test, and he has failed.

Well, I said it. And its dumb to "admire" someone for beating cancer as if some people do a better job of it than others. Do you think less of people that don't beat it?

+1. At some point over the summer, he just abdicated all leadership. Governors in other northeastern states (e.g., NY, CT, RI, MA) were actively involved in getting schools open. MD couldn’t even be bothered to release metrics until the end of august, after local jurisdictions decided on remote learning.

Not happy with MoCo either but Hogan gets failing marks on this.

Hogan's vaccine distribution has been an utter disaster and it is costing lives. Anyone who still thinks this clown is competent has been living under a rock, or is a GOO operative. https://www.vanhollen.senate.gov/news/press-releases/van-hollen-brown-lead-maryland-delegation-calling-for-a-course-correction-to-marylands-vaccine-distribution-approach
