Chris is simply trash. When he said he could leave and go back to his ex I was so hoping Paige would tell him to do that and GTFO.

I kinda hated everyone this episode except Jake and Clara (and generally Ryan, though he got the side eye with his criticism of Clara's talking). They kind of glossed over it but I felt so bad for Jake that Haley and the other couples purposefully excluded him from a get together! What a terrible feeling that must have been.

Question: what’s up with the overly done eyelashes on the ladies this season? Is it false eyelashes that they keep on most of the time? Are they extensions with mascara? It’s just way too much, especially while lounging around.

I was surprised haley slept with Jake and was actually almost giddy disclosing about it since she seems so uncomfortable around him all the time (both before and after). I felt bad for him, also. It’s possible he’s overly sensitive now because he doesn’t know where he fits in but she needs to talk to him. I guess we know why she’s gone so long without a boyfriend...she doesn’t really want to be with anyone and doesn’t want to let anyone in.

It was a huge red flag when clara’s husband told her he prefers her to be quiet and keep things to herself. The implication was understood.

The bossy girl also didn’t have a great episode. She was starting that evening off telling him HE annoyed HER and then was blindsided that she was the annoying one. You know you’re bossy and annoying when your family and friends wrote those vows.

Chris is off the rails. He literally goes from saying one thing to saying the opposite and Paige wants it so bad she hangs on him saying the things that are focused on her.

The one with the pilot is probably an alcoholic. She wants a drink immediately upon waking. She wants to go out and drink every weekend. Very inflexible. Very immature. The perfect compromise would be if he could accept her guy friends and her going out and drinking and if she could go out whine he’s flying...if she’s not an alcoholic. But she probably is. He looked foolish trying to keep up. I’m surprised that this couple hasn’t consummated the marriage, actually.

I will likely be the minority here, but I actually liked Chris for most of this episode until the last 10 minutes. While I realize it's likely the producers encouraging the other couples to ask him about the details surrounding his new baby, it's truly none of their business. And he was absolutely right to call Virginia out on being a drunkard. She's completely out of pocket.

Ryan is clearly very conservative and seems to have some preconceived notions regarding gender roles. He is likely more conservative than Clara is immediately ready to admit. I foresee this becoming a huge issue.

I think that Haley was probably willing to sleep with Jacob because she wanted to get laid and it probably wasn't that good, so she realized that there really wasnt anything worth holding on to there. Hopefully the show will give Jacob the visibility that he needs to find his match. He is definitely a bit eccentric so will need someone that appreciates what he values in life.

I always think marriage should bring out the best in both people. But having a drinker paid with a pilot who really can’t drink is a terrible idea. Some of the other matches aren’t very well thought out either.

And he’s too old to to drink just to show he can. Yes, he’s on vacay and could let loose IF that was his style fit himself...but even his wife said she tynoigh he did it just for her.

The honeymoon was so strained because of the pandemic, they were in Vegas, where was everybody? it was so deserted. Jacob needs to put a shirt on, he’s had it off since night one, he ain’t all that and his wife agrees, you can feel how uncomfortable they are, nothing to talk about. Very cringe inducing.
Chris is this seasons’ hot headed Brandon, and what I’ve read about him in real time, he might be the worst MAFS has seen.
