Riese

There was JUST a thread on Reese/Rhys. I’d say reference that for general thoughts but stick to one of those spellings and not the one you suggested.

Riesling cut off mid word

For the life of me I will never understand why people do this to their children. Please don’t, OP. Reese is a perfectly nice name.

+1 I have a 70's name that is spelled "differently" because my mom wanted it that way.

Very easy to pronounce, so no confusion there. But, I would have preferred as a child and now as an adult to have the standard spelling.

Hah! That reminds me, at my first job out of college my boss was Karyn, and her bosses were Lynda and Kari. They could never find any items with their names either.

Reese is a nickname/shortened for Therese . So you're trying for a nickname as a 1st Jane nd then spelling it weirdly?
Anonymous
If it is pronounced like Reese, just spell it like Reese.

My mother gave me a very common name but spelled it differently on purpose. Don't do this to your kid! To this day I have to correct the spelling (people STILL get it wrong) or people misspell my email and I don't receive them.

It just seems unnecessary. Reese is fine.

Unless it is a family surname I would spell it Reese or Rhys.
