The only way I'd buy this is if it's a forced sale with all the money going to his victims.
The house itself? Eh, it's a house. I don't believe in ghosts. But I don't want this person to get one cent of my money. |
+1 How old would the victims be now, and are they safe? Were they his birth children? Are they safe? Where is the wife? Is she not held equally liable? How can those kids get that money? Is there any way? |
21, 20, 16 and 11 - so the youngest two are in foster care or with that "mother"? My God.
Someone buy that place and burn that place down, for the victims sake. |
+1 |
I’m guessing it’s going to be near impossible to find someone who will make him breakeven, let alone profitable. |
2005 bought for $1.3
Tried to sell in between for $1m 2015 $1.5 Is there any way for the victims to get this money? |
So true. |
White Rich Republican. What more do you expect. So the abuse happened to kids who did not have parents? No one came for revenge? No civil case? |
The impression I got from the articles was that the victims were his own children. |
I'm surprised that the realtors didn't tell the to move out and stage the house |
Most likely they had parents and he is one of them. My understanding is that inter family abuse cases are very difficult to prosecute because of the complexities of children involved in a case against a parent. I suspect it’s not politics or money, but getting a family, with kids who may have different opinions on how to proceed, aligned to prosecute. This may have been the best deal the prosecutors thought they could get given the circumstances (whatever they are). We really have no idea what was going on behind the scenes, but I wouldn’t jump to conspiracy. |
I'm the OP and this was basically my take when I saw the pics and the situation. |
There is no evidence the mother knew he was abusing the children. |
fwiw, I can't even get myself to look at the link of the pics of the house (or even register where it's located other than the description in the subject line), let alone google further. honestly appreciate the early warning.. |
All of the family photos on the piano- ugh! Stomach churning. |
