Hahaha🤣 yes a Shabbat meal is infinitely preferable to COVID.

I gave my mother a plant as a kid - and 30some years later it is still alive! And she still talks about my having given her that gift 😀. It even still blooms sometimes. (It was a Christmas cactus of sorts.)

I love L’Occitane products. I take bubble baths daily and love good quality products and lotions. Just bought multi $100s on this, Kheil’s and Philosophy when they had Black Friday sales and Ebates has big rebates.

PP again. Also replenished all of my NAR’s make up and bought lounge wear and a gear smelling candle from Anthropologie. I rarely shop for me. And this is all practical and comforting now. DH has not commented yet.

I asked for new Christmas decorations (and also told everyone to order them after the holidays so they’re on sale!). We moved to a new house and the kids are finally old enough that I feel like I can finally have “nicer” stuff.

I also asked for a new bag, bathrobe, pots/pans, and I always end up with lots of candles and hand soaps - apparently a rumor started in DH’s family one year that I love hand soaps so that’s the go-to gift for me - I don’t necessarily mind, it’s just funny!
