I have this color in my bathroom, and it's the second time I've painted my bathroom this color (or tried to. The first pre-renovation color was a bit different, but if you stay in this family of color you can't go wrong. I first found it from color matching a Monet print.) |

An aqua blue color |
SW sea salt.
It’s like a gray green blue. Works well with low light. You can have pink or blue towels/ it works well as a neutral. |
Amen! Imagine a sick kid throwing up on those spokes. No, thank you. |

Me, too. I would choose a really bright color - a mint green maybe, or a bright blue. |
I am not the OP, but since you were all giving such great advice, can anyone suggest a nice light gray and coordinating charcoal for a windowless, kids’ bathroom? Currently used by tween girls, but I want it to be universal for when we sell. Everything I see looks like it tends toward aqua. (A little bit of blue would be OK but not aqua.) Boring off-white 4 x 4 tile. I want to paint the vanity cabinet mid-gray or charcoal, and the walls light gray. |
Is this the kind of look you’re going for? ![]() |
A little bit darker on the walls, and lighter with a touch more blue on the cabinet. |
Try all white and a black ceiling. Google it, it looks super cool. |
