His press conference was just as stupid |
| Remember when he did blackface and the Democratic Party voters didn't care? |
| So do the new restrictions mean the tournament will be canceled? |
| I am watching the replay since I was working. I am not hearing new restrictions outside of the one that started Monday or did I miss something? |
whats the point of this tournament now? Parents should protest by not going at all. Money grabbing tournament organizers... Either allow one parent to attend AS IS CURRENTLY ALLOWABLE by law or don't have it at all. Rise up parents |
by law? The executive order say no spectators over 25. Why rise up against it and lose the opportunity for the kids to play. As much as it sucks to miss the games I think its a fair middle ground to let the kids play before the real shelter in place happens. Winter is coming. |
U12 and below would make it easy to comply with the 25 spectator limit. Still find the tournament now pointless |
I think Northam has been great. It is not Northam creating these Tournament policies. It would have made more sense to stick with no Tournaments and avoid this mess but sponsoring clubs could not resist the money and everyone wants the dog and pony show. Now there is this pressure to just do something to show you are concerned (while still collecting all the money) and here come the nonsensical policies. |
Why would they? It’s the kkk party |
No. No new restrictions since last week. Press conference was pointless. FYI AAU basketball and club volleyball are in full swing right now. Outdoor soccer is the least of our problems. |
I didn't want to reference other sports before, but that's another thing that makes these soccer spectator rules so ridiculous. How can indoor sports like hockey, volleyball, basketball be continuing or starting and then we have organizations acting like a few dozen people standing around a soccer field is a concern. Heck the car pools that might occur due to restricting parents is a bigger risk. |
+1 the thought process is asinine at best. Nothing can be more clear than this being a money grab only. Boycott... |
The AAU and volleyball games are also subject to the 25 spectator rule FYI. But I would feel much safer standing around 24 other people outside than on bleachers inside. |
Keeping the bars and restaurants open, while limiting outdoor gatherings, which have much lower risk of spreading infection, to 25 spectators is pretty stupid. And, by the way, Washington football team allowed 3000 people in attendance for its last game, but having a handful of parents watch their kids play in a youth tournament is suddenly a grave threat to public health. |
So you would boycott, not let your kid play, because you can't watch? Why do you need to watch so badly? |
