| I hate to say that my friends and I went to a winery near UVA about 10 years ago and we all had brown tall boots on, skinny jeans and cardigans. No hats though. |
At least the Virginia ones aren't on fire. |
That was below the belt, PP. Yellow card. |
Which SEC sorority is this? |
one is already pregnant, one looks like they fell asleep in a tanning bed, all look bleached, and way too much makeup- I'm going with could be any |
It’s ok. 10 years ago I wore tall boots, skinny jeans and cardigans almost everywhere. |
| Jeans and a gorgeous blouse and a blow out and booties |
I live in San Francisco and wear jeans, a baggy t-shirt or sweatshirt and sneakers every day. I use a tote bag as a purse. I've never been kicked out of any winery or restaurant or play anywhere in the Bay Area. |
I’d rather they be on fire every once in a while than the pure, disgusting crap that is all Virginia wine. It’s gross, PP. If you think Virginia wine is good, something’s wrong with your taste buds. Most of it tastes like wood varnish. |
I don’t know...I’ve seen a lot of people get sloppy drunk at wineries. That gorgeous blouse might not be so pretty by the end of the night. Just sayin’. |

These shoes are dumb for visiting a winery. I visited a winery and do not feel a need to ask anyone what to wear. I wore jeans and probably trainers. No one GAF what I wore. |
Wine Enthusiast disagrees, in fact, Barboursville has a wine on the top 100 list this year. I think your palate doesn't appreciate terroir. OP, the clientele in VA wineries is a bit dressier, on average, than Napa wineries. Think country chic, then add southern preppy, and et voila you have a VA winery outfit. (Before people freak out, I'm not saying VA wineries are more upscale- they aren't. But west coast style is more casual than east coast style and this shows up at the wineries as well.) |
Wineries generally aren't open at night. Just sayin'. |
You haven’t been to all of them. |
