So you’ve never driven my car. Got it. |
DD had a Mercedes. Liked it until it needed ridiculous maintenance. He now has a BMW and loves it. Lesson: German does not necessarily equal good. Also, he drives my Lincoln regularly and loves it. My guess is none of you have significant experience with any of these cars, such that you can actually compare them. |
DD should be DH, clearly. |
| Domestics in the 80s, 90s, and into the mid 2000s were landmines. Those who bought one were dedicated and brave. The competition forced the big three to improve however, and by the mid 2000s, all three were well on their way. The Ford Fusion released in 2006 was a dramatically improved vehicle from what the company produced in terms of competitiveness in the market. GM streamlined their brands by killing off Oldsmobile, Pointiac, and Saturn, and Chrysler's muscle sedans/coupes and SUVs established a loyal following. I wouldn't question the quality of any modern domestic vehicle. The difference between Ford/GM/Chrysler and the best that Toyota has to offer in terms of reliability is a much smaller gap now, to the point that it's probably immaterial. |
| Even Kia is better than both of those junks... But all three equally low klass. |
