It has happened. A group of armed Black Panthers were trying to intimidate white voters at a polling location in Philadelphia during the 2008 election.

Difference is - they were standing IN FRONT of the door to the place and had batons in their hands along with saying remarks to people as they walked by, that is voter intimidation.

This small group of Trump supporters made no threats to anyone nor were they in front of the doors to the place, they were 100 feet away which is 60 feet more than legally required.

Just because you are intolerant of views that are not robot-like / whatever CNN feeds into your brain, doesn't mean those people are "bad" or "wrong" since they have different views than you.

And yea i can go back to 2008 for it, while you can't go back to any time to show Republicans doing the same. Holding up signs 100 feet away doesn't count as intimidation either, but Obama voting Black Panthers with batons on hand directly in front of the doors is textbook intimidation. Of course it got little airtime on the Democrat propaganda networks like CNN or MSNBC since it shows Democrat thugs at work.

All of those Democrats who go to Trump rallies to try and start fights do similar stuff, it is trying to intimidate right leaning people from exercising their right to assemble, Democrats like to silence people since their own views have a hard time standing up to scrutiny.

I hope you are being flip. Protestors can do whatever they want so long as they are a certain number of feet from the entrance to the voting center. The poll watchers and the local party captains are supposed to mark this space off. They are completely within their rights and I certainly don't see the level of violence and hatred we are seeing from the left. You have to remember you are reading the New York Times. If protestors of either party get physically too close, then the local party captains call the police. This is called election law. There is an entire body of it.

Wearing any campaign buttons, stickers or regalia
Handing out campaign literature
Urging any candidate or issue election or defeat on the ballot

Pp here...I think the law changed about buttons & stickers...You are allowed to wear apparel, including shirts, hats, buttons or stickers that contain a candidate’s name or a political slogan when they go to the polls to vote. (Va. Code §24.2-604(J))
