| This happens when a once-great country declines into 2nd world decline. Sad. |
DP: What a silly thing to say. Why on earth would you think Democrats don't believe in God? Democrats are all faiths. And Biden is Catholic. |
Because PP said so? |
Go ahead. Trump will still lose, VA going blue..... |
+1 |
| Same as people who hand crap out and pester you as you go in. I guess Biden folks have nothing to cheer about or notproud enough to wave his flag |
Because we are voting for a leader, not a mascot of a sports team. Where did all this flag crap come from anyhow? The GOP didn't do this. |
|
Funny part is, I bet half of the Trumpsters forget to actually vote themselves.
|
My two next door neighbors are the typical T supporters: provocateurs, loud, liars. |
| Weird to see so many adults somewhere in fairfax without a mask on. |
I hope you are being flip. Protestors can do whatever they want so long as they are a certain number of feet from the entrance to the voting center. The poll watchers and the local party captains are supposed to mark this space off. They are completely within their rights and I certainly don't see the level of violence and hatred we are seeing from the left. You have to remember you are reading the New York Times. If protestors of either party get physically too close, then the local party captains call the police. This is called election law. There is an entire body of it. |
| Trump is a crook. Lock him u!!!! |
|
Virginia Law strictly prohibits electioneering or obstruction of any kind within a 40-foot radius of the polling place entrance, including:
Wearing any campaign buttons, stickers or regalia Handing out campaign literature Urging any candidate or issue election or defeat on the ballot There are two important rights to be balanced: the right of voters to enter and leave the polls free from harassment, intimidation, or threatened or actual violence; and the right of peaceful protestors or advocates to express their views regarding the individuals and ballot measures on which people will be voting. |
Pp here...I think the law changed about buttons & stickers...You are allowed to wear apparel, including shirts, hats, buttons or stickers that contain a candidate’s name or a political slogan when they go to the polls to vote. (Va. Code §24.2-604(J)) |
| Simple question: if people at the polling location felt oh-so-intimidated, why wasn’t the police called? |
