It is not such a big deal to change schools. There are benefits to being at the local school

Are you talking about having some kids enroll in one address and another at the other? That’s tricky. But in general, if one parent lives in the zone, they enroll the child. Taxes are still being paid. If both parents are still in the same school district, you can petition to stay with the school, even if they are outside the zone. Learn the rules for your district. When we split up, we wanted to do this on the up and up, so we learned the policies and forced the school to uphold them.

But here’s the bigger question - if you have primary custody of the kids, why are you moving out of the home? Kids stay in house, and parent who stays with kids stays in house.

You must have plenty of money. With the rest of us poor's the money just isn't enough for 2 households.
