Thanks for all the info. Can someone recommend a great buyer's agent in Bethesda/Chevy Chase. I need someone who REALLY know the market and the area for my under 650K house!

Buyers' agents don't do anything. You are better off looking online, getting a real estate lawyer to do the deal, and knocking a few percent off the price.

Hey I sell you my house in Kensington! I want to go to Chevy Chase or Bethesda. When we bought our house in 2005 we were just married and childless and did not think of zoning for schools and all that. We live in Rock Creek Palisades that belongs to the Einstein cluster. We have a child now and have started to send her to a private Montessori near by. If we move to Chevy Chase or Bethesda, we would not do private.
