What do you have to look forward to?

Hiking in cool weather with fall leaves

Baby's first Halloween. She wouldn't trick or treat regardless, but there will definitely be cute pictures in costume next to pumpkins.

Twice a month meetups with friends. We're masked but there's something about seeing each other in person that gives me a little boost.

Watching my baby do big milestones like walking and talking

Cheaper, more accessible tests like saliva and urine tests - I'm letting myself hope these will be ready for seeing family at the holidays

Hopefully a new president. I'm still worried about Trump cheating or using the courts to try to stay in power. But I will definitely exhale a little bit on inauguration day if Biden is sworn in.

The tomatoes in my garden ripening.
My daughter’s first communion.
Watching TV after the kids go to bed. I thought if I watched enough, I would eventually get tired of it, but I still love it.

My 11 yr old daughter has one more chemo treatment. We're planning an online party with family and friends, and I'm looking forward to celebrating how proud I am of her for handling it all like an absolute champ.

Wow! That is absolutely amazing! Congratulations to you and your daughter and thank you so much for sharing such wonderful news. I wish you could invite me to the party. I'd send a gift!

Redecorating our living room. We're re-painting, getting slipcovers, new throw pillows, etc. Big bang for not too much money. Love researching/picking new items and can't wait to see it done.

Single mom here. I thought this time would never come! I had my kid 24/7 and when he was old enough for me to talk a walk alone or run some errands was awesome. I wanted to add it to his baby book! I left him home alone this summer to work (I’m a teacher) and it was great. I finally made enough money to save some and I’m out of debt. Anyway, your time will come too and you will really appreciate it!
