For me, sometimes it’s 9, after breakfast and a lazy morning. Sometimes it’s 6.

If it’s before 8, they have to use inside voices or come back inside.

You are really inconsiderate.

Disagree. It is nice of her to ask the kids to stay quiet outside. It’s their property!

8:00 is fine - people start their workday around 8:00 or 9:00, so it's a reasonable time to be outside. Our community lawn crew starts at 7:00am...ugh.

Yeah this is a weird question. I think as soon as they wake up they should be able to play outside- 7 am is definitely fine!

Not with the usual noises that kids make when they play. Of course their voices are going to carry. Make it 9:00AM. Don't be inconsiderate.

Our local noise ordinance says 9 am on weekends, 7 am on weekdays. I doubt kid noises violate the decibel limits, but I'd probably try to honor that as a courtesy, and wait until 8 am on weekdays.

You don't send your kids out at 6-7 AM. Its rude. She's sending them out to play to get rid of them as she doesn't want to be bothered with them. Those young kids need to be supervised. Neighbors should chip in for birth control.

So, if my kid wakes up at 4 AM you are ok with them doing what ever they want right outside your bedroom windows?

Nope. Barking dogs at 2 are inconsiderate. Fireworks at 11.30 are inconsiderate. Loud parties until 1 are inconsiderate.

Kids are playing in their own yard, with inside voices. Unless the house next door leaves their windows open, kids aren’t loud enough to be heard by anyone but me.

If they’re using inside windows, I won’t hear them. If they’re yelling, it’s not appropriate.

Yeah no. I’m outside too, so that I can pull them in the moment they start to argue and/or voices rise. I just realize that they need physical activity ASAP.
