Did you just land here from 2003? No one cares about the Hiltons. |
| I’m honestly surprised by the negative reactions to OP on this thread. My mother always told my brothers to look at a girl’s mother (and her ankles!) if they want to see the future. A lifetime is a long time to be won someone you find unattractive. |
| My mom is really overweight definitely very very obese. She has health problems, but not the kind most people assume. Her health problems are mainly around swelling which has caused major weight gain into the 300-400 range. She's on a very strict diet, but the swelling is a monster. She doesn't have diabetes either. I am very self-conscious of this, but I am smaller and I've never had any type of weight problem. I'm sure most would be surprised if they saw us together. I really hope a guy wouldn't judge me because of this. I work out 3-4 times a week! |
You're surprised because you were raised by a female misogynist. Not all of us were. |
NP. Keep dreaming. That's the first thing (ok the second) most men consider before getting married. |
| No. I am in great shape. My parents are not. |
| I read once that for Americans working out is the new religion. This certainly appears to be the case here. I looked at whether my husband and his family practiced a religion, treated others well, were kind to older family members, etc. DIdn't occur to me to weigh any of them. Like livestock. |
Found another one. |
My mom is fit and slim all throughout her life. She is now 70 and looks old, but she’s still only 95 to 100 pounds at 5’2”. I never was slim or fit at her same height. |
| No. But I wish I had looked at other things. My husband’s parents were alcoholics. Guess what... |
