Krauthammer, being a psychologist, certainly understands transference. Also, being an asshole, he should understand the emission of shit. The above passage demonstrates both. Here is Tom Tancredo who was the opening speaker for the Tea Party Convention and a former Republican presidential candidate (and former Republican Congressman): "I would suggest to you that a lot of people who voted for the president who didn’t know a thing about the process and couldn’t care less about it….I would use the same test on civic literacy that we have immigrants take….If you’re an American citizen who can’t pass the same test we immigrants take, then I don’t think you should vote." In other words, the dim voted incorrectly. Krauthammer apparently correctly identified a political belief, but attributed it to the wrong political group. |
Which is it? As a liberal, am I an intellectual (OP) or am I dumb (Tancredo), and do I appreciate(OP) or have disdain for (Tancredo) intelligence? If you can clarify exactly which way I am wrong I promise I will change. |
Sorry, I really must be dumb. That should have read:

PP, I now understand this whole "disdain for the intellectual elite" thing... uh and before you try to dazzle us with your wit, no one cares. |
us? no one? how many people are in that little brain of yours? |
name calling ..typical. |
I was about to complain that I had no idea which side you were criticizing, when I remembered that name-calling is one of those all-American bipartisan pastimes. |
