We've had a reasonably good experience with City Dance this year for my middle schooler as a new student to the studio (previously was at a smaller studio). The structure and communication hasn't been perfect, but they seem to be building out their sort of middle road option (Senior Studies - not as intense as the conservatory, but the same teachers, high quality and plenty of options). If you talk with their program director she can be very helpful. I guess it depends on what you're looking for - some classes are big, some are small - is your child hoping to go professional (in which case I think you'd need to be one of their top students to get extra attention), or just looking for high quality instruction for an activity that they enjoy.
