I agree with what others have said about putting the armoire in the living room and crib in the bedroom. We were in a one bedroom with our son until about 6 months and had his (mini) crib in our room. I know each baby is different, but at least in my experience, the blackout shades and sound machine helped with his sleep - and would have been hard to do in the living room. Plus, if you have to be confined to one space once the baby goes to bed, which is pretty early, I would much rather have access to the living room and presumably kitchen, entryway, etc.
It’s tough sometimes, but doable! And honestly really nice to have the baby near you at night, especially in the early months. |
