Oh nice! I’m not holding out hope for VA to be added but that would make things a little easier (not OP). I’m going mid-August and but am starting 2 hours south of dc. I have little kids so it’s a bit too hard for us in 1 day but will drive 4 hours after work Friday, stay at a hotel and then haul butt like 5 am the next day and get up at a reasonable time. We broke it up last year by staying half way in New Haven, CT with family but we can’t do that this year due to social distancing. May break it up halfway on the way home since we won’t get a super early start.

OP here. I think Md should definitely be added to the list of exempt states!

Looks like md has a higher rate of infection than Virginia at 6.8 people per 100,000. Virginia is 6.3 per 100,000.... very close but Idk. I wouldn’t bank on it for traveling purposes.
