How many masks do you have per kid and where did you get them?

It's nice to have options to ask the kids which ones they want to wear, because if it's mask or no mask they will refuse the mask. All of ours are from Etsy, except a few a friend made that don't fit well. The adults strongly prefer the ones with the nose wire to make it fit better around the face, but the kids don't seem to need that as much (smaller noses).

We'll get more as we figure out which ones fit best for each person and our preferred mechanism for holding them on. I would definitely want at least 5 per person if there's any school in the fall. Right now we're not going out that much.

Op here. I’m trying to prepare for the fall. Right now they probably put a mask on once or twice per week so what we have is fine. I’m trying to prepare for school. I feel there will be a shortage of kid masks so I’m trying to prepare.

Op here. I just ordered some from old navy. How is the quality of the masks?

Very good - they seem durable.

Everyone has two. But my kids are not leaving the yard except when they're walking the dog with an adult, so there's really no danger of them losing one.

Do you have the kids or adult Old Navy masks? I’m trying to determine if these would work for my 3 year old

We have 4 washable cloth triple layer masks for each family member. We also have 50 disposable surgical masks. We do not go anywhere but we wear when we go on walks etc. I hand-wash all masks each time we use them and dry it in sunlight (in a sunny window indoors). I also have stashed masks individually in ziplock bags in our cars.

Op here. I ordered the small Disney masks for my 3yo. I have not received them yet though.

Why do people have so many masks for your kids? Where are you going? We have one mask for each of our kids and neither of them has used it once because we haven't taken them anywhere except outside, and when we're out they're not near other people.

Have at least 7 with some favorites. Jaanuu has great quality masks. Pay attention to materials of each color, some are more tight (cotton) and will run smaller than those that are more soft (high Rayon count)

We have 5 each for the adults and I ordered 6 for DC that are due to arrive today from Primary (they come in 3 packs). I launder them once a week, so as things pick back up I'll probably make a couple more for DH and I.

Because if we are considering sending our kids back to school, they need to get used to them. I want to have at least three a day per kid.

We have at least 3/person/day, so 21+ each, plus disposables. Our school has said if in-person classes happen, masks will be required. So I assume at least 2/day if they remove them at lunch, plus an extra for recess or walking home from school. We live in a busy, walkable area and unless we’re just playing in front of our house, everyone is in masks. It’s a little embarrassing to have so many, but I got a variety because it’s fun to coordinate them with our outfits.

6 store bought and 2 homemade for each kid; all are washable

I have 1 for my child. A family member gave it to us. He's worn it twice.

I bought some from target but they are too big for his head. Ordered a pack from Old Navy but haven't gotten them yet.

I also only have 1 cloth one for myself, plus a few packs of the disposables.

How old are your kids? Mine are early elementary so I am anticipating masks will get lost, torn etc. If schools require masks I imagine they would have extras handy in case kids lose theirs during the day..
