I don’t believe she did any summer associate stints, I think she spent her summers doing research for a criminal law professor. That might make it more challenging for her to get a big firm job, especially in the current environment. My guess is she’s planning either to go straight into the family business, or will do something completely different like public interest.

That's sweet. Rich kids don't need impressive resumes to get these jobs. She'd be hired at Kirkland in a second.

What? No. Do you actually work at a big firm?

That pretty much defines low bar.

I like her but don’t understand given her Mom is Marla Maples why she is not more beautiful

I always thought she was pretty cute, but she’s put on a few pounds recently.

Well, her dad is Donald Trump.

Trump doesn't like her or her mother so he hasn't invested the hundreds of thousands necessary to make her pretty like he did for Ivanka.

She needs to safe herself by getting far away from the Trump taint and making a life of her own.

It'll be useful for Barron to see that, too.

The older kids are grifters who are tainted for life, even if loaded, and probably should end up in prison. Tiffany has enough distance to avoid the stench if she wants. Good for her.

She already took a gap year after Penn ( ), then three years of law school (a T14 she probably didn't deserve to get into in the first place*). An idle rich trust funder blowing her parents money for 4 years to avoid getting a job. Please spare me that law school is hard, she's constantly photographed jet-setting and partying (and she had no summer associate gigs?). Not even seeking summer associate gigs sounds like maybe she feared her GPAs/transcripts leaking.

*I've seen no mention of her honors at Penn. Aren't Penn's Latin honors public record and/or did she wear honor cords at her Penn graduation?

Penn
summa cum laude: 3.8 or higher
magna cum laude: 3.6 or higher, but less than 3.8

You "admire" Jared too for being bribed into Harvard and NYU Law?

Why? Kirkland doesn’t need her name to drum up business, and it’s not like she’s a close line to her father (It’s not like we’re talking about Ivanka). There’s not much upside to outweigh the potentially negative association.

I hope she sets herself apart from the family. I’m not so sure about Barron, but home the same for him two. The other kids are lost causes.

I was a pretty well connected well off kid when I finished in the middle of my class at Georgetown. It didn’t help. Firms care about grades. The fact my parent was important did not mean I was able to get a job at Wilmer despite a middle of the road gpa.

Tiffany was going out with the not especially attractive son of a rich real estate partner at Fried Frank, but she dumped him.

Not necessarily. When I worked in Biglaw my firm hired the daughter of the founder of the firm’s biggest client (by far), despite her barely passing grades at a no-name law school in flyover country (presumably the only one she could get into).
