I am a huge fan of Karl Racine but will lose all respect for him if his office doesn't investigate this. This whole thing reeks of tit-for-tat. This girl thinking she won because she made tons of phone calls while being backed by huge amounts of money is gross and reflective of Ivanka Trump thinking that she is competent because she has been handed good jobs in her life.

Everyone knows that the Cornell Hotel School is a backdoor into an Ivy League School one wouldn't normally have been qualified.

Pinto's family money has helped her slide and hide for years.

One can only hope that Ward 2 makes this right.

Luckily we have another option - Randy Downs is an ANC and LGBTQ leader running against her in November as an independent. He qualified for the public financing program on his first day in the race. Check him out at randyforward2.com

Racine also endorsed Ed Lazare's campaign. Lazere is the lobbyist who runs (recently resigned) from the DCFPI.

Interesting guy makes millions while he talks about policies for the poor.

Definitely good work if you can get it and Ed obviously has.

I talked to him once and he seemed like as genuine guy. Do you have a source that he made millions (or really something inappropriate) off DCFPI?

I kind of like him for at-large council, but I'm not quite settled.
