Neighbor has music on every day outside- can hear this anywhere

This sort of mentality has a high chance of landing you in a situation where you are unhappy for so much longer. Why does speaking kindly to a neighbor and being willing to compromise seem like a bad idea to you? If the neighbor is not violating the sound ordinance and you come off like a hot head jerk the neighbor is far less likely to turn their music down. Don't cut of your nose to spite your face because you think it has to be your way or the highway.

Aaah- so it continuous- we waited all summer and were't the asshholes to ask them to turn it down but several nights at 2am and 3am they blasted music and we asked them to shut it down (this is the polite version). Their lowest dba was 67 daytime. We didn't say a thing but it's just miserable living here.

Yeah, neighborhood pool people are a special breed aren't they. I'm sorry. My old neighbors went from 7-8 until 2-3AM, the family came out in shifts to make sure someone was always blasting music out into the neighborhood. I think it's an attention thing.
