So confusing. So, Dasgupta and Harris will run against Dixon? Assuming they are the top two.

He quickly deleted from his private group the person who showed their ballot and you could see it was a republican ballot, then warned people not to post the rest of their ballots.

It's an open seat. Top two vote getters run against each other. The incumbent, Dixon, is not running.

Hateful seems to have lost any meaning in the way you use it. Disagree with Austin, fine. Think he would be bad for MCPS, fine. No. It's an open seat. The incumbent decided not to run again. So (if Dasgupta and Harris are still the top two vote-getters when all of the votes have been counted), the candidates on the November ballot for the at-large seat will be Dasgupta (who is not the incumbent) and Harris (who is not the incumbent).

IOW, you can't vote Harris off the BoE because she is not currently on the BoE.

Cheryl Kagan got 11,585 votes in the 2018 Democratic primary, running unopposed, and 36,147 votes (79%) in the 2018 general election.

There are plenty of reasons one can disagree with his policies, but attempting to simply declare them out of bounds from reasonable discussion is intellectually dishonest.

Why would people in Bethesda move to Frederick County for the schools? Especially because any boundary changes - which there might not be any anyway - won't result in big losses to property value? Would property-owners in Potomac Glen really going take a hit if they got rezoned from Wayside/Hoover/Churchill to Stone Mill/Frost/Wootton?
