| I don’t think this is a big problem to ask. Especially if you’re splitting plates with others. |
You were not meant for this world. |
| If you go to a decent recent, of course they will do this. |
| Most of the world thinks Americans and European are weird for serving food that has to be finished cutting on a tiny, curved plate with a little knife. |
| As a former restaurant cook I don't ever remember being asked this but it would allow for the cook to be able to ascertain the level of doneness more easily--without cutting you go by feel. |
I’m sorry you experience this and for the insensitive and downright mean remarks. I would think you could ask the server and that restaurants would respond positively. If they did not, I wouldn’t visit again. |
Exactly. A functioning adult, he11 even a kid can do this with a steak knife. |
With steak sauce |
| It’s weird but not going to be a problem if you have a sling or artificial arm, etc. if you are just lazy, I don’t think it’s a problem for the kitchen but karma will find your lazy ass and punish you |
Gotta kill all the germs! |
| Doesn’t the kitchen have huge sharp knives where it would take two seconds to do this? I don’t see the big deal. Especially when even petite filets are like $60 now. |

Why not have the server feed it to you like momma bird to baby bird?
Maybe if you go to salt bae restaurant they will cut it |
