| I think medium rare serves their steak presliced? |
| OP if you want your steak already cut, go to Medium Rare. They are open for carry-out. |
| Why would you do that? |
|
Not ok.
But we were on a cruise last year and my 8 year old ordered steak several times for dinner and each time they asked if he wanted it cut up. I was THRILLED to not have to do it for him. |
|
Haha seems like something my Spoiled 10 yo would do!
I was hoping he would grow out of it but apparently some people never do... |
Hahahaaa, PP. what I was thinking. You’re going to have something coming along with the steak. |
| This has to be a troll. Not something a grownup would ask for (unless a senior citizen with no teeth - sarcasm). |
No. I think it’s a great idea. I would ask for it. I think I will next time. I’m a great tipper, so nbd. |
| Of course it is. No self respecting Chef would refuse little customization and this is not even doing nothing as far as cooking. .it is just cutting.. 5 second deal really. |
| I have one functional hand pricks. |
| You can ask and they can say no. Our cooks would tell the server to get lost. |

I'm guessing most of these responses are from people who consider Sizzler their main steakhouse. The best steakhouses will happily cut in the kitchen - especially because the trend now is to order 2-3 steaks for the table so everyone can try a bit of each.
But if you insist that you have your own medium well 12 oz filet yeah don't cut that in the kitchen. |
| You Americans are simply amazing. |
| Only if you order it well done. |
So, you got repeated confirmation that is is in fact OK. |
