Is anyone actually committing to Fall 2020 soccer season?

However, the only thing that's making me hesitant to commit is they have "no refund" written in the waiver. I mean, do I take the chance and commit to the 10 month payment plan or should I just wait until after summer to see if we will actually have a season. I mean, if we are not playing in the fall, then what am I paying for besides training?

Training, keeping conditioned. Seeing other kids in a similar situation. A glimpse of normalcy, time away from screens. Guaranteed spot if you're in a coveted spot/team. Yes you can also get dome of this on a rec team if you choose - depending on your coach your training may be less.

I know everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but committing to a 10 month payment plans tells me you are paying $$$$ for this club. Would I do it? "NO". Why? Because you can get a personal trainer for less money, you can socialize with other kids for free in a similar situation, go outside and play, pass the ball or something with your neighborhood friends. It all boils down to what you are willing to pay for. Rec leagues will be in the same situation if there's no fall season, however I believe you will get your money back since most rec coaches are volunteers.

Right now it looks more likely than not that we will not have a fall season. Many clubs are offerinig refunds in the event that the season is cancelled in an effort to have players commit financially. Offering a spot to existing players is a given because nobody can hold tryouts.
