I don’t like pie, and I LOVE pies from Livin the Pie Life in Arlington. Right now they open up online ordering twice a week for pickup twice a week.

So incredibly dry and blah. A mom in our group always brings one of these cakes and it never gets eaten. Such a wate

We love Nothing Bundt Cakes too. I’m shocked you say the mom brings it and it never gets eaten.
OP - my favorite cheesecake is by Savvy Treats. I don’t see it on their menu but they sell individual slices at Dawson’s Market. I could just inhale them.

10:31 again - my favorite cake, the one i look forward to every holiday season when a client gifts it to our office is from Caroline’s Cakes in Annapolis. While it isn’t as good as when I first tasted it, it is still the highlight of the week leading up to Christmas in the office.

They are a mail order bakery.

What cake do you get from there. Just looked at their website and the cakes look delicious. Although many are sold out right now.

I love Tout De Sweet in Bethesda. I used to live closeby and when I needed to escape for a little bit, I would walk there and get a coffee and dessert. The opera cakes, mousse cakes, fruit desserts. The macarons are also delicious. It's one of the only places in the area where I felt like the taste and quality justified the price.

Patisserie Manuel- used to be up on Layhill road and now making really great croissants and desserts on Brookville road in Silver Spring (industrial area) using contact free curbside pickup.

-another baked good snob routinely disappointed by the places everyone else raves about (who also has weird weaknesses for certain bad grocery store cakes!

PP here- agree with the Spring Mill recommendation. Their rocky road brownie is really good.

The 7-layer caramel cake. Every Christmas our clients gift us the caramel cake and the chocolate cake. I find the chocolate cake to be too sweet but plenty of my co-workers enjoy it.
