Expectant and Postpartum Moms
| She just delivered my baby too....really loved her! If she wasn't so far away I'd switch to her. I liked that she was thorough and no nonsense. |
| I haven't seen her for OB care, but I had a bad experience with her on the GYN side of the equation where I felt like she didn't have the best bed-side manner. My friend who referred me to her, however, just LOVES her for GYN care, so I think she's probably great, just not quite for me. |
| Seeing her for OB care with Preg #2. I think she's great and I'm really impressed at how efficiently the office is run. I'm currently 24 weks and have always been seen promptly. Previously I went to another OB at the K Street office and things were always terribly off schedule. |
| She's been my doctor for more than a decade and I used to love her, but over the last two years I've found her to be cold and on one recent occasion downright cruel, rolling her eyes because I wanted to ask a few questions before consenting to a series of rather serious procedures. She seems much more interesting in helping women have babies and dismissive of the issue of women entering menopause. I'm now looking for a gyn instead of an ob-gyn. |
Try Dr. Lori Kaler, who is at Wildwood Medical Bldg. She's temporarily out of the baby business, but definitely doing gyn. I adore her all around. |
I love love LOVE Dr. Ken Blank at Capitol Women's Care. He only does GYN, and I switched out when I got pregnant because I'm not a fan of a couple of the docs who do OB work. Dr. Blank is very compassionate and always follows up, even when he is out of the office. I wish he delivered now that I'm pregnant! Good luck. I tried Dr. Kleinerman several years ago and did not have a good experience with her for GYN -- found her to be cold. Dr. Blank couldn't be more warm. |
