Family Karma - Bravo Show

Agree, the children are so boring. Their drama is not engaging.

Me and spouse agree that we'd much rather watch a show centered on the aunties and parents! Much better gossip and they are actually wealthy.

It’s like B minus entertaining and makes me laugh so I’m still tuning in. It’s like a younger, fitter, classier, more intelligent and successful version of Shahs. Although it certainly focuses more on getting forward in their careers than Shahs, where nobody appears to be working and they’re all rich.

Did anyone watch tonight? How can Richa not realize that Vishal is gay? Isn't it obvious?

Yeah, she’s oblivious. But there’s also something that’s...off....with Richa. I can’t put my finger on it.

This may also explain Lopa Auntie’s cool response to the engagement.

I think this about Richa as well. Perhaps she is gay too?

Did he get hair plugs?

Everyone looks so different in their confessional interviews. Anisha clearly got a makeover! She looks like a dour sourpuss in the live action part of the episodes, but then in confessional she has the plunging dress and full make up & hair.

Anisha sometimes looks very beautiful

I seriously think both Richa and Vishal are gay but that they both know about the other & it’s a coverup.

It weirdly extends over her eyebrows and then forms a box on her forehead. Weirdly like another Bravolebrity - Teresa Guidice.

Sorry - I tried posting a pic here but couldn't figure it out.

Omg its so distracting. She should those patches removed

Episode 1 was pretty bad. Nothing was that compelling to stick around for more episodes in my opinion.

I guess maybe South Asian folks may identify with some of the family dynamics? Everyone was sort of boring, except for all the guys who are clearly in the closet.

Yes. Only South Asian people will like shows about Indian people. You hit the nail on the head.

I’m loving the show now. The first few episodes were boring ,except for the parents and grandpa.

But, I’m really liking the characters more. All of them actually. Usually on Bravo shows there’s the ones I like and the ones I like to hate. But these guys are all real (so far) and I enjoy the family dynamics. It’s more like a whole family sitcom show but reality Bravo version.

Yes! It reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where the same girl is some situations is very plain and other times she's gorgeous. Same thing here.

The only one I don't really like is the Bali, the one with the boyfriend in Kentucky and the teenage daughter. She's kind of like the odd man out. Doesn't quite fit in with the others and comes across more like a mom.

Bali is horrible. She is too old to hang with those kids and she is a pot stirrer.

In the confessionals she looks amazing but in RL she look so awkward and homely. I had to explain to my husband like 4 times that it was the same person.

Her posture is always abysmal, though.

Agree about the posture. She's going to cringe when she sees her interviews.

That's what I feel about Brian. The hardcore "I want to check out/impress the girls" is not even a good cover.
