58bpm |
Your heart rate is too high.. I would get a ekg and a physical asap. What is your BMI? |
Does anyone know if a resting heart rate of 85 - 95 for a 10 year old is normal? |
Totally normal. Kids have higher resting (and max) heart rates. Adults really shouldn't have a resting rate over 90, and definitely not over 100. Usually it means they're lacking cardiovascular exercise and fitness, because their heart has to work that much harder even at rest. |
I wear a garmin running watch. My true resting HR is 42 but if I were to measure it while awake it would be closer to 49. I’m a 42 yr old female, 5’5” 150 lbs. Mine is natural/genetic.
I work out and run but I’m a slow runner and not in crazy good shape. |
OP I was a competitive athlete and always had a resting rate around 80. People are built differently. If you think you have heart issues, see your doctor... next year. |
You need to take many readings one after another to get it righr T. For some reasons the sensors in the divices that are not permanently sitting on Your skin for solid while.. like watch... they give false reading when Device or finger is cold. So you need to kind of warm them simultaneously. Best to just put it on few other fingers and just have it sit to warm up The inside and then put on your measuring index finger. Most people report first reading or readings to be way off To both ppm and oxugen level but if you keep measuring Eventually after quite few thimes numbers become Consistent and within reasonable range. So bottom line.. warm up finger.. warm up inside of the device measure many times, be still do measure after sitting For a very long time not after walking or just Sitting down. Any small activity affects reading. |
It might be result of wrong measuring. See above. |
52bpm, according to my Apple Watch (just checked). I'm 43, F, been an athlete for a long time. |
What did the cardiologist say? Mine is too, and my GP seems totally unconcerned. Resting is always between 85 and 100. Normal BMI but not particularly fit. |
Mine is 58, after my morning coffee, about 56 when I first wake up. I'm 49 and I'm 5'1" so also petite. normal blood pressure (100/70).
At one point I was hypothyroid and it was 46-48. I suppose a high rpr could be hyper thyroid? |
Mine is usually 80-100, I’m slim and pretty fit. I had an ekg and echo, and everything looked great. Cardiologist was not concerned. Said if it was consistently above 100 for a long period of time, then it would be more of a concern. |
