PP is classless and tasteless. Slurpees are fabulous and I respect my local mini-mart manager who is currently working tirelessly to keep his shelves stocked for his customers. Many of his customers are seniors, single mothers and people with disabilities.

How is the rape hoax an example of political correctness? A woman said she was gang raped and the community leapt I to action. When it was determined it was a lie, they still examined policies and procedures to improve them. Seems rational and appropriate.

Yeah, just like the Duke lacrosse case wasn't a hoax. Kids' lives and reputations were destroyed, but mistakes will be made....

Let me make it simple for you: political correctness is the affliction that caused the administrations of two supposedly great institutions of higher learning to embrace -- immediately, wholeheartedly, and gullibly -- hoaxes.

The Duke lax case was blown off the rails because the DA (Mike Nifong) tried to use the school and the lax team to advance his political career. He was a dirt bag.

Perhaps it may not be PC, but if a woman reports a rape or assault, I would hope every institution has the appropriate protocols in place to launch an investigation that protects the identity and rights of all parties involved.

But, good luck to the kids still hoping to hear from UVA and W&M.
