Anyone going to become an accidental SAHP because of corona?

I work for an airline. I'll end up a SAHM because I'm going to lose my job.

I work in hospital (clinical role, but not a doc/nurse) with zero telework possibility, nonflexible hours. We have a preschooler and an almost 1 y/o. Of course, as for everyone, school/daycare are now closed indefinitely. We have parents/in-laws who usually are willing/able to step in to babysit in emergencies, but that's certainly not ideal given their increased risk should they contract COVID. And with me going back and forth from the hospital, that increases risk of me bringing it to them inadvertently. I'm afraid I might have to quit once my leave/DH's leave runs out. Any chance this falls under FMLA? Not that mine's reset yet since having our youngest. Anyone else concerned they may have to quit to manage childcare?

Tell DH to try telework while caring for kids and take whatever hours of leave is necessary as the day progresses, to conserve leave. Your baby is not yet walking so he or she can stay in a pack and play. Your preschooler can play by himself for a while, watch TV for a while. I have a just turned 4 year old and that's what we're doing so far as hos preschool closed as of Monday, taking partial leave as needed to conserve our leave pool. We both work for employers with more than 500, so we don't qualify for the 12 weeks of pay.
