I would’ve gone if the circumstances mirrored what happened with OP

OP glad it all worked out - hoping no one else comes down with anything and you hbea good vacation

DS came down with something halfway though a two week abroad vacation - I only brought children’s Tylenol but not Motrin to alternate and it was hard to find an equivalent at 2am in Sydney. After that trip I always pack lots of both to take on all trips no matter so if something happens I don’t have to leave at 2am to hunt for an open chemist who will have the right meds I need. Good advice to the PP who mentioned that.
