Identity is Prius - buy a new one or upgrade?

Just get a Chevy Bolt and transfer the "Coexist" bumper sticker from your Prius to the Bolt and you'll be fine.

The Bolt gets at tax credit since it's all electric, and isn't overpriced like Tesla since it doesnt' have the brand cachet. A really great deal price-wise. Koons has plenty in the $25-30k range. That's a great deal. Range is 250 miles so just charge it once a week at home.

This is a first. I don't think I've ever heard something so silly in my whole life. I would LOVE to see a picture of your husband.

I have a picture in my mind. It's not pretty.

Drive a Bolt, then drive a Tesla. You'll never want to get into the Bolt again. 100% worth the extra money.

Why not look into a less expensive EV than a Tesla? If his identity is about the environmentalism of the Prius, a plug-in car is even better than a hybrid.

His best case scenario is buying a Tesla, but that's too expensive for us. Anyone bought a new Prius after owning one previously? Did you like the new one? Or should we upgrade to a hybrid in another car?

If he wanted to be eco-friendly he’d drive that Prius until it dies. And then buy a used car. But whatever makes him feel better!
