was anyone actually there? Alexandria parents were making racist comments during the game just because Hyper was rough. Before you talk about parenting look in a mirror. Mad because some poor kids from Langley park were winning a game against Alexandria and it took a referee being biased to win you the game last week showed how a game truly is.

NP: I was there and saw it happen as well.

The Hyper team was better and the Refs were terrible.

Not an excuse for the coach to do what he did or the kids to act that way, but it happened AND they are better than Alexandria.

Coach is a Brazilian guy that knows futsal...

Hyper didn't get robbed at the Alexandria Futsal Tournament. They got disqualified because their coach shoved one of the referees and the kids then started dropping F bombs on the referees. I don't think that should be considered getting robbed.

This. NP here. I was there and saw the entire thing, and I don’t have a kid on either of those teams. Was there to watch a kid on the court next to this one. I saw the coach push the ref, the ref give the red card, hear the F bombs, and about three men had to separate the DC Hyper coach from the ref because it looked like he was going to escalate. Was totally bizarre and unprofessional. You can’t spin what happened.

If that coach is not banned for a year, at least, then that League needs to be avoided!

It's not a league it's a tournament but yes it needs to be avoid it altogether by everyone unless you are a Alexandria staff hard at work right now ready to defend Alexandria rep

Let me get this straight you propose avoiding a tournament because the host club (Alexandria) was in a game against your club and you didnt like the referee calls. Furthermore, your coach lost his mind and had to be restrained forcing police to arrive. Furthermore, the kids from DC Hyper were telling refs to F off.

What world do you live in that you see this as something different than DC Hypers fault?

I think poster that wrote comment about avoiding tournament was if the Alexandria didn't do something to ban the coach for the bad behavior in next year's tournament.

What were the DC Hyper parents doing at this point? Holy S, if my 12 year old kid told a ref to F off, Holy S, the ref would have to save my son from me. And if my son's coach pushed a ref, I'd be having words with him as soon as the dust settled. Remember we are raising kids to be sportsmen and gentlemen....not a**holes. I guarantee my kid would be in the car and not playing more futsal afterward. Ridiculous.

I was there. It was shocking how poorly behaved the coach and players from DC Hyper were. i had to have a chat with my kid about it who wasnt even playing in that game. I used it as a lesson of what not to do. How not to behave. It was disgraceful and had that been my club I would have been humiliated to have been associated with it. Just my opinion though. I'm sure parents there see it through their own view.

Ok let’s get a couple things straight. Yes - RU 07 boys is DA and had 2 teams in the tournament in Richmond. It is relevant - Alexandria had to go through both DA teams to get to the final. They played against both DA teams AND the final with Hyper all in the same day. But go ahead and leave that out of the discussion and just post the one score with hyper. Let’s see your rec team play against 2 DA teams and then an hour later play against Hyper and see how you do.

Absolutely true. But the real victory is that their coach didn't try assault anyone, and the 12 year old boys weren't forced to tell the ref to F off and give them the finger. Great job Hyper! Nobody had to call the cops this time!

I'm not an Alexandria supporter but DC Hyper deserves all the crap they get over that incident and especially since the coach never even apologized. He put out on IG that the refs were terrible, etc. No remorse. No regret. No apologies. He's a D.
