Google Palisade and BTS if you’re curious |

I had a Mercury Cougar that looked great on the outside: candy-apple red, sporty.....a nice muscle car per say.
It looked better than most cars half its age. But the thing was composed of junk. I was so on it w/oil changes, maintenance, etc. but in the end she ended up being a piece of pure junk. And mechanics hated working on it. |

I bought a Palisade in August, top level trip, after exhaustively researching and driving practically all of the non-luxury 3 row SUVs .
I love it. I love the space, especially the third row - two adults can get back there and sit comfortably. I love the heads up display. I love feel of the ride. I love how it's trying so hard to look and feel like a luxury car - but for about 20k less than the luxury line. I love the safety features, even though some of the sound alerts can get tedious. It was mostly a toss-up for me between the Palisade and the Telluride, but I didn't like the "sporty" stying on the interior of the Telluride very much, nor do I love the more "butch" grill. Negatives: I dislike the button shift - I prefer a stick, even after months of using it. I don't love the media interface. I have had infrequent problems w/ the electronics going dark and i need to reboot or restart the car (3 times). I hate how much of a gas guzzler it is - I feel guilty about that. I find some of the safety features annoying - it argues with me about whether I have sufficient room to back into a space in a parking garage for instance. When the car decides to refuse to move it infuriates me.
