State Cup U12

I’m just saying that I can’t wait for the parade to celebrate the greatness of your kid and your kids team. Isn’t that what you want? The adulation that only State Cup can bring?

You've lost your mind. My kid plays DA. But I've seen quality national league teams, such as FC Dallas Premier, Las Vegas Sports Academy has had some, Lou Fusz Athletic, one Princeton SA National. What? If it's not about your kid and his league you can't be objective? Nothing else going beyond your own personal experience?

I said I can’t wait for the parade for the State Cup winner.

It matters to you and nobody else.

Enjoy it but it doesn't mean what you hope it means.

You think like a loser. Which is likely what you are. Success is meeting your goals regardless of what others think.

And if your kids team doesn’t win State Cup is he/she a loser? Will anyone care? No, because again, it doesn’t mean what you hope it means. Enjoy it but don’t put any stock in it either.

You’re still a loser.

Sorry that State Cup is marginalized now but that’s just how it is now. Enjoy it, good luck to your team but it’s just another tournament.

You’re still missing the point. Loser.

Sorry. If your kid’s team wins State Cup there will be a victory parade thrown downtown.

You continue to miss the point.

This level of immaturity must come from a child. Adults don't act like this.

Either you are new to the forum or there are many more kids on here than I think. Or both.

Fair enough. I guess adults that act like children are the mainstay of the forum. Or at least that poster.

Oh please. The parent asked for this with their "U12 State Cup is the best representation of talent change my mind" crap.

No, State Cup is just a tournament that at least is done in a unique format but nothing more. And at U12 there is no US National component.

Just looked at the NPL site for VA “State Cup”. Of all the NPL teams at U12 only 4 are choosing to participate. So they can all say they made it to the semi-finals of the State Cup! The thing I find interesting is the Strikers are NOT participating. I wonder if they plan to apply for the other “State Cup” which will likely host all the pre-ECNL and pre-DA teams.

On the boys side, the Richmond Strikers current team is a second or third team. Richmond United has created two pre-DA teams at U12 drawn from Strikers and Kickers. So whatever Richmond Strikers and Richmond Kickers teams you are seeing on the boys side have already been diluted, just like Arlington Red and Loudoun Red.
