Looks best on day 1. Looks best on day 1000.

I get compliments on my black vehicle all of the time. People don’t believe me I say it’s a 2007. It’s still shiny and nice.

Agree. I’ve never had black, but always think it looks the most stylish.

I also agree that SUV’s look newer than sedans, which seem to age quickly.

Silver/steel is my least favorite, but it’s personal preference.

I get a new car every 3 years or so. I've had burgundy, white, orange, dark blue, black, and light blue. I have NEVER had such a nightmare as the black car. Black shows all swirls. You can't ever let anybody TOUCH it with a brush or a towel with any dust on it. Of course, you'd do best to keep brushes or dirty towels off of any car. But a black paint job looks terrible after awhile. You can polish it out before you sell it, but polishing too much will wear down your finish so it's not something you can do periodically and you will have to live with a bunch of micro scratches and swirls all over your paint job. Please for the love of god DO NOT GET A BLACK CAR.

+1000 I’ve heard this over and over again from former owners of black cars.

Black! But from your color choices I would choose silver.

Midsize SUV. Not sure what yet. Pilot, Highlander, Ascent, Enclave, etc.

We have a black 2017 Highlander, never wash it and it looks like new. There are different types of black paint and this one is some kind of miracle -- literally never even looks dirty. Otoh we have a second black car, higher end brand, 2018 model, that looks grey unless it's washed weekly. So annoying!

I’ll bet it’s a black metallic. Can you check and report back, pp?

Yes! The Highlander is "Midnight Black Metallic." The other car calls itself black metallic too, though.
