mouse droppings can harbor very dangerous diseases and trigger asthma...the health issue is a concern especially when 3, 4 and 5 year old do there circle time sitting on the floor where the mice dropping are. I just hope that they took the measures neccessary to stop the issue. |
I thought the superiority of the continuous community, the brand new facility, the exceptional reputation, and the year-round curriculum were a given. |
| What's up with the weird rumor on another thread that Jennie Niles is going to be Principal at Hardy? I can see why someone at Hardy would have those kind of wishful thoughts, but it is pretty illogical. |
| I can't imagine her making that decision. She founded Haynes as a better alternative to DCPS with the goal of establishing a top quality high school. Why would she leave before that dream is realized? BTW, I hear ground will break on the new HS this winter. |
I thought that the high school was going to be housed alongside the early childhood program at the old Clark school on Kansas Ave. Is this "breaking ground" for further renovations of the building, or are they building an addition on that site--or another? |
They're building a new wing at Kansas Ave, running south from the west side of the current building there -- will have a gym plus the HS classrooms. |
