Appollonia is a cultural name, so probably wouldn't criticize it, especially as a teacher.


All names are cultural. More likely the mom had a love of Purple Rain than some deep cultural connection.

Kazia will be mispronounced all.the.time.
This is also the reason we didn't go with a name that has been in my husband's family for generations.
