Iraq war veteran to testify that he heard Trump pressed Ukraine president to investigate Biden

Anonymous
They are going to destroy him. Trump discredited a POW that gave his body for the love of his country. Graham was supposed to be his friend. There is not shame or honor.
Dems are stupid because they are holding a vote on Impeachment because R’s are yelling about transparency.
1. Every request to the Executive branch is stonewalled
2. Gang of Eight was not notified about operation (nothing illegal, but institutional norm)

I would have a vote worded like we vote to impeach the president publicly. A no vote means you agree to continue to have the inquiry private. Force the R’s to vote yes to impeachment or to continue private proceedings.
Geez they control the language!

Talking about quid pro isn't the same as executing quid pro. Ukraine ties are strong with this one.

Did you read the article?

There was no 'quo'. Ukraine had no idea that money was being delayed - they kept checking their bank accounts for it.

I’m pretty sure they knew. It’s in the article.

They actually didn't and that's been stated for the record.

Regarding your 'star witness', this is a good read. And before you attack the source, you will see a lot more of them on social media as they have been validated as a trusted media source by Facebook's Zuckerberg. Guess he got sick of left-wing absurdity:

They are holding the vote because they were ruining their own credibility.

We're arguing about reality here. And "protecting the interagency consensus" is also protecting reality.

Pollack needs to step it up.

WRONG. You are way behind.
“In fact, word of the aid freeze had gotten to high-level Ukrainian officials by the first week in August, according to interviews and documents obtained by The New York Times.“

That’s nonsense. Bill Taylor was in constant contact with Ukrainian officials about it and that is why he kept pushing Sondland and Volker and Fiona Hill about when Ukraine would get the security assistance and what they had to do to get it. Zelensky himself may have been more obsessed with a White House meeting, but he and plenty of other Ukraine officials knew the military assistance was held up over U.S. political demands. That is why Taylor said that Ukraine wanted to be treated with respect and not just used for U.S. political purposes.

Lt Col Vindman was working for the bipartisan policy of the United States to support Ukraine and its fledgling democracy against Russian military aggression.

Giuliani was working for a Russian-supported Ukranian oligarch, Dmitry Firtash, who is fighting US extradition. Firtash fed fake information about 2016 election interference and the Bidens to Giuliani in exchange for getting off the hook from his legal troubles.

Vindman was serving the US and its national security. Giuliani - and by extension Donald Trump - were not.

Yup, they started the "destroy the veteran" campaign yesterday with Laura Inghram and it continues:

https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1189148524291731459

Sean Duffy on CNN on Army Lt. Col. Vindman: "It seems very clear that he is incredibly concerned about Ukrainian defense. I don't know that he's concerned about American policy ... we all have an affinity to our homeland where we came from ... he has an affinity for the Ukraine."

CNN folks should have a follow up question: Does the FLOTUS have more concerned about Slovania than USA? Does Donald have more concerned about Germany than USA...

WTF!

This argument would hold more water if there weren't many other native born U.S. citizens saying the same thing.

The fund that Trump was holding was appropriated to Ukraine by US Congress. So, Trump was standing against the US interest. Someone should ask if it is because he has German root that he supports dictators like Putin? Trump's action helped Putin, so it is a fair question.

Accounts suggest that the Ukrainian government understood the quo as early as May. Sondland has admitted the quid pro quo. Sorry your news sources aren't reporting this. Maybe you should find new ones.

Sean Duffy is a fool. Does he not realize that providing funds to Ukraine as a bulwark against Russia is bi-partisan American policy?

If he thinks this witness has undue affinity to Ukraine, how does he think Melania is, in the White House as Trump's handler?

My head was hurting listening to Sean Duffy on CNN this morning. I keep wondering when we will hit bottom. Attacking the loyalty of a patriotic war veteran for political reasons is low
