Bill Taylor was in constant contact with Ukrainian officials about it and that is why he kept pushing Sondland and Volker and Fiona Hill about when Ukraine would get the security assistance and what they had to do to get it. Zelensky himself may have been more obsessed with a White House meeting, but he and plenty of other Ukraine officials knew the military assistance was held up over U.S. political demands. That is why Taylor said that Ukraine wanted to be treated with respect and not just used for U.S. political purposes. [/quote]
