What do you do once the kids are asleep?

I know right?

I was thinking the same thing...

Clean the kitchen and then watch tv and play on our phones. I usually fold and put away a load of laundry just before bed too. It’s very exciting stuff.

One child flew the coop (18yr) and the other will soon be gone (16yr). We are often in bed before the 16yr.

Once the kids are asleep and the kitchen is clean I attempt to get organized for the next day and then I might work on my craft hobby while watching a show. My husband will read or watch a show and thankfully he doesn’t bring work home with him. We almost always head to bed at the same time and we will often watch a rerun of the prior evenings Colbert monologue. Two or three nights a week we will shower together and then jump into bed for some adult fun and games almost always on Sundays.

You shower before sex? But then you're gross and sweaty again?

I was thinking the same thing...

4-5 times.

It’s not exhausting at all. It’s refreshing and stress relieving.

Kind of curious what kind of safe birth control to avoid more babies? We are done with 2, and we are both exhausted from taking care of them at the end of day. Baby #2 is 5 months old.

Get ready for the next day and sleep. Oldest is nearly 4 but still naps so her bedtime is late 8:30 and by 9 I'm beat. Baby is 2 months old and will wake up multiple times a night. Dh gets up for work at 4:30 so sleep for everyone.

Eat dinner, clean up kitchen which means at a minimum running the dishwasher and getting the coffee maker set up for the AM, then "mommy daddy time" which could mean TV or a movie or sex or early bedtime or all of the above.

Same here. Vasectomy is the best thing to happen to my marriage.

Single mom here too. LOTS of sex, lol. Boyfriend(s) usually comes over for dinner, then kid goes to bed, then we have sex, then i finalize lunch, etc for the next day while he putzes/ repairs stuff for me around the house. It's perfect. I don't own a TV. That's a relationship killer.

I work out at 5am, with or without boyfriend.
