+1 If you’re fit and trim, they are the most comfy and flattering |
How would you know the underwear preference of gay males? |
Who cares what’s in or out. Wear what you like. DH and DS prefer boxers and I buy them online. Amazon has plenty. DS changes to boxer briefs for all sports practices and games. Again, Amazon. It’s not different than my granny cotton underwear not being in style but I have quite a few pairs for comfort when panty lines don’t matter. |
| Who wears underwear? I go commando. Easier and more freeing. My partner things it’s exciting. |

FWIW:
Grandfather, would have been 109 - boxers Father, 78 - boxers Husband, 41 - boxer briefs Son, 20 - boxers |
| No idea but I only have sex with men who wear boxer briefs. Tighty whities are disgusting. |
You are missing out. |
On old man undies? No thanks. |

I'm 43, and typing this in my boxers.
When I was a kid all the dads (who would mostly be 70s now) wore briefs and everyone my age switched to boxers around middle school. This was in public schools in California. We had to keep one set of briefs for sports. There is another generational divide (no idea how much younger) that switched to boxer briefs. This is based both off of what I've can't help noticing at the gym and what women I've dated have told me. My son insisted on switching from kids briefs to boxer briefs about age six, so whenever that trend started, it is still going strong. |
| +1 for going commando |
Ok, I've seen a few people mention these here boxer briefs. Are boxer briefs different than boxers? |
PP here - it was sort of a running joke. A meme before there were memes, if you will. |
Yes. They’re closer to briefs than boxers. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boxer_briefs |
| My dad is 77 and he wore boxers my whole life and I’m sure he still does. My husband wears boxers or boxer briefs, definitely boxer briefs for sports. My son wears boxer briefs and has since potty training. |
