Vanderbilt has no undergrad business school or business major (economics though). Just added business minor recently. |
Look at Belmont. The school counselor recommended it to my friend's daughter when she wanted something music - oriented but more on the business side and less performance oriented. I had never heard of Belmont but my friend's daughter absolutely loves it and gets interesting access to the music scene in Nashville. I think it's a Christian university but my friends are atheists and they say it is diverse and hasn't been an issue.
University of Wisconsin- Madison has an excellent music program (with a world class marching band) and a great business school.
U of Cincinnati has the ranked Conservatory of Music as well as a business school. Co-op experiences provide valuable work experience.
Consider Ithaca?
Safety UOregon
NYU
I just also want to endorse IU. I know the schools by reputation only (my husband is an alum), but I love the town of Bloomington. Very walkable, lots of great restaurants for such a small town. And the campus offers culture in terms of art and live performances. Definitely worth a visit.
University of Miami.
Temple is strong in both.
USC
