They won't even define what "major crimes" qualify working with immigration enforcement or provide a list of crimes.

They allow criminals to avoid deportation. I dont want rapists to go free however they will in MoCo once they are deported and come back to MoCo. Once they get back after being deported MoCo won't report them to ICE when they encounter them (on a traffic stop for example). Why do you want convicted rapists who should be out of the country to get to stay because MoCo wants to protect them?

I see this as a problem. Zero checks and balances when there is one party in control.

It's because there aren't enough people in Montgomery County who want what the Republicans are peddling and because the Montgomery County Republican Party can't put up any non-wack candidates.

Meanwhile there are contested elections - it's just that they're in the Democratic Party primaries.

If the Republicans could come up with a solid, intelligent, well-spoken candidate, they should have a chance. The Democrats have gone so far off the edge that I do think voters may be ready for some balance.

They had an excellent representative in Connie Morella, but the Dems were (and are) so anti-Republican that they voted her out.

The RM rapist was let out on bond and he raped his victim before trial... and was given 18 months sentence. (So poor little rapist didn't have to go to real prison.)

Yes. It has been a long standing problem that montgomery county judges protect rapists. Most rapists are white males though.

The judges have to follow guidelines and since most rapists are white they have to give Hispanic rapists the same bond they give white rapists.

All rapists should not get bond. But since white male judges don't want white males going to prison for rape ... everybody ... I mean every woman is victimized by this system.

ICE was called at noon to pick up the rapist (who should not be let out on bond) but ICE never showed up and he was released at 6pm.
